Meteorology for South African Private Pilots

Description

Stephen Medcalf has spent over 43 years in Meteorology, having worked in Zimbabwe and Rhodesia for 20 years before joining the South African Weather service, formerly the South African Weather Bureau in 1982, retiring in 2003 and then working for the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 16 Months. He has lectured aviation meteorology for various flying colleges and military establishments throughout Southern Africa, mainly for the Commercial and Airline Transport Pilot’s licences.
